Planned Giving
It is the aspiration of the Dana Group to provide as many resources as possible for Shambhalians to contemplate our relationship with money. With that in mind we hope the below will inspire the community to consider the two difficult topics of death and money.
Planned giving insures that after one passes away there is certainty around the deceased's wishes. In addition, in some areas there are local laws which will dictate what happens to your assets if you do not have a Will.
Wise financial planning can provide for your future and that of your loved ones, and the right kind of plan can also help you make a difference in your world.
One way to make a difference after your death is through a gift to Shambhala entities you are inspired to support. For many friends and members of Shambhala, the best way to make a gift is in the form of a bequest. Bequests can be made through gifts of cash, securities, real estate, and tangible personal property.
If you are interested in working with members of the Office of Finance and Development on your wishes for your estate we can move as quickly or as slowly as you wish, working directly with you and/or your professional advisors.
Please feel free to e-mail us at any time.
