I was since 1976 sportseditor at the daily newspaper De Volkskrant and moved in september 1988 to NRC Handelblad, also a daily newspaper. I was also a sportseditor and became later head of the sportsdepartment. In 2013 I got retired and became a member of Shambhala Leiden. At Leiden I was a member of the board (PR). When the center in Leiden had to stop I became in oktober 2023 a member of Shambhala Amsterdam
