If you are new to meditation, this retreat is a great way to begin a lifelong practice.
During this retreat you will be introduced to peaceful abiding meditation (shamatha) and be provided with introductory tools and teachings for working with meditation in your everyday life.
Through meditation we can learn to become friends with our minds and ourselves, learn how to work with difficulties and emotions, and develop courage and a sense of humour. We can discover our genuine heart of sadness. We train in being awake and feeling the breath in the present moment. Meditation is for everybody, people of any or no religious background.
This precious time will offer us the possibility to integrate meditation practice in our lives. By establishing a consistent meditation practice, we learn to relax and simply be with whatever is going on in our lives.
