Lojong Study Group (on Zoom)

You are warmly invited to join a participant-led study group focused on Lojong, the ancient Tibetan guide for developing compassion and relieving the sufferings of ego. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom to explore a different slogan. We use Pema Chodron’s Start Where You Are and Norman Fischer’s Training in Compassion as study texts.

August 26th:  The Paramita of Meditation
September 2nd:  Slogan #19: “All dharma agrees at one point.”
September 9th:  Slogan #20: “Of the two witnesses, hold the principal one.”
September 16th:  Slogan #21: “Always maintain only a joyful mind.”
September 23rd:  Slogan #22: “If you can practice even when distracted, you are well trained.” – Week 1
September 30th:  Slogan #22: “If you can practice even when distracted, you are well trained.” – Week 2
October 7th:  Review of Point Five, Evaluation of Mind Training
