A five-session program on Saturdays to establish or boost a sitting meditation practice in our busy life. All are welcome.

Topics covered include Why meditate? What is Mindfulness? Basic Goodness and Peaceful Abiding, Developing friendship with your own mind, Gathering a scattered mind, Working with emotions, Obstacles to meditation and antidotes, Touching and letting go, Finding a space and a time to practice, Ideas for practicing with everyday life.
Short readings will be provided after each session.
This program will be presented by senior meditation instructor Muriel Chaput. The program can be taken alone as an excellent introduction to meditation or as a perfect follow up to the Introduction to Meditation one-day program on November 25th.
Program fee is $120 for all five sessions, but it is possible for drop in for one or more sessions at $30.00 per session. If money is an obstacle, let us know. We have a pay-what-you-can policy.
All the proceeds go to the maintenance of our Center.
Note: There is no sessions on Dec 23 and Dec 30. Instead, you may join the community practice taking place at the Center. The program will resume on Jan 6.
