What was new about the Buddha’s enlightenment? What were his most transformative insights? How do we connect with this fundamental wisdom today?
This introductory class will take an immersive and experiential approach to these questions. The four-hour program will include guided meditation practice, talks on the life and teaching of the Buddha, contemplative exercises, a study period and discussion. There will be a communal lunch break and opportunity for outdoor time.

Tony Cape joined the Shambhala community in the 1970s after moving from England to Colorado to study with Chogyam Trungpa, Rinpoche. He moved to Burlington from New Jersey in 2023. He is a teacher, author and rideshare driver.
