This introductory course will explore how the practice of meditation reveals the innate wisdom of the heart, strength of mind, and a sense of ease.
Through meditation, we address our fears and appreciate that difficulties are not an obstacle. Rather, we find we can bring bravery into everyday life and engage with the world directly from the perspective of nowness.
There will be meditation instruction by experienced teachers, discussion groups, contemplative exercises, and home practice between classes.
Recommended reading for the class will be from the text Shambhala: The Sacred Path of the Warrior
