Shambhala Sunday Gathering—Healing Ourselves & the Lineages We Carry

Sunday Gatherings are LIVE every week at 3:00 p.m. ET

Donations are welcome!

Sometimes the spiritual path takes us in an unexpected direction. Such was the case for Ellen who, after 30+ years of meditating, realized she was being asked to help heal a much larger collective trauma. During our time together, Ellen will share insights from her personal journey of joining Shambhala teachings, especially the teachings on basic goodness, with her family’s Holocaust legacy.

In our guided meditation and contemplation, we’ll start by finding ground and safety in our own embodied presence and the larger space that supports us. From this strengthened foundation, we may notice possibilities for sensing into the inherited karmic patterns we carry, or perhaps resistance.

Our discussion will address whatever arises from our practice. How interconnected with our lineages and ancestors do we feel? Which Shambhala teachings can best support and encourage us in acknowledging and integrating the past, and healing on this level? And can this actually have an impact in the world?
