Our topic for July: Supports for our meditation practice in the shrine room

During our First Sunday dharma discussion, we will explore the iconography found in  the meditation hall at PVMSC, which includes images of the Buddha, Yeshe Tsogyal, the Protectors, the Four Dignities and more.  By understanding more about who and what these images represent, we come to a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Buddhist and Shambhala teachings and how they support our path of awakening.

9:30-11am – Group meditation practice

11-11:15 – Break

11:15-12:15 – Talk and Dharma study

Tea, light refreshments and fellowship following dharma study.

Suggested Donation:  $5-20, or offer what you are able.  All donations support the general operations of the Pioneer Valley Shambhala Center, helping us to maintain this space in downtown Northampton.
