For people who practice meditation, be it Buddhist or affiliated (or not) with other wisdom traditions.
Three exposés, three classes:
1 Being present with a beloved as he or she approaches death. Accompanying the dying such that their way is eased towards a serene departure from this life.
2 Being present to and with the Nowness of death, respecting the manner in which our close one is dying.
3 Being present after death has come. The experience of the mind without body has been compared to the experience of a dream. Whether we believe or not that consciousness can exist after death, to contemplate these teachings always raises interesting and important questions.
