The Key Points of Trekchö with Gerardo Abboud

The four Chokzhag by Mipham Rinpoche…. a pithy trekchö teaching on the four aspects of how to rest in meditation, translated as the Four Placements or, better as the Four Aspects of Leaving As It Is. 

Friday, November 22, 7-9 pm

Saturday, November 23, 9 am to noon & 2 to 5 pm

Sunday, November 24, 9 am to noon

Since there are four Chokshag we will do one at each session. 

This program is open to all who have received pointing out the nature of mind instructions iin the mahamudra or dzogchen tradition from a recognized vajrayana lineage holder.

This is a hybrid program…. on Ocean as well as in person at HSC.

Gerardo Abboud was born in 1945 in Argentina. In 1969 he graduated as Engineer at the University of Buenos Aires. In 1971 he traveled to India and Nepal and stayed there until 1985, studying and practicing Tibetan Buddhism. He has been translating from Tibetan to English and Spanish for many lamas, specifically serving as main interpreter to Drubwang Tsoknyi Rinpoche from 2000 to 2015, and to His Holiness Dalai Lama since 1992 during his visits to Latin America. He is the head and resident teacher of the Dongyuling Drukpa Kagyu Center in Argentina, established in 1986, alternating this with his teaching events in Mexico, USA, and Europe.
