On the registration form is a box to click to add a discount code. The code for our group is novascotia2024. To apply the code, first select the full program price. The code will give a $158 discount for a fee of $22 US (approximately $30 Canadian). The regular program price is: $40.00 to $180.00 US.  If you can, please pay more than $22 US

TSOKNYI RINPOCHE CRESTONE ADVANCED RETREAT

Program Pre-requisites:  Advanced Retreats requires you to be a student of a Vajrayana and/or Dzogchen master and have received pointing out instructions. If you did not receive pointing out instructions from Tsoknyi Rinpoche, you are asked to watch an open retreat teaching to become more familiar with his use of terms and style of teaching before attending. The 2019 Garrison Talks in the Pundarika Member Archive are recommended.

Retreat Schedule:  In 2024 the Advanced Retreat will be 7 days long. The emphasis will be on meditation practice and applying the teachings. Rinpoche has not yet decided on a topic.

Thursday, August 29 – Monday September 2: 9:30 am to 4:30 pm daily.
Rinpoche’s Talks are from 1:00 – 3:00 pm AST Thursday – Monday.
On Tuesday, September 3, his final talk will be 12:00 noon – 3:00 pm

Program Organization:  This is a self-organized program; we are the program staff.  Angela’s organizing role ends once the program begins.

This event takes place at the Halifax Shambhala Centre, an inclusive and accessible community space. You can find other public and introductory events here.

The Halifax Shambhala Centre maintains a SCENT-FREE environment.  Please DO NOT wear or use any scented products.  Many of us are highly allergic.

Please note that open beverage containers (glasses, cups etc) are not allowed in the shrine rooms. You might want to bring your water bottle and/or travel mug.  No single-use plastic bottles, please.
