Come celebrate the bounty of the season at Cleveland Shambhala! Harvest of Peace is one of Shambhala’s Nyida holidays, marking the changing of the seasons. It is a time to gather together for meditation, good food, and good conversation. A time to contemplate what nourishes, strengthens, and sustains us, individually, and as a community.
Appreciation is at the heart of this Harvest of Peace celebration. We have so much to be thankful for — the teachings of our lineage, our beautiful space, the talents and generosity of our community, our sangha, and time spent together.
The day will start with sitting meditation, with some English language chants incorporated.
We will end with a celebratory potluck lunch and socializing.
You may take part in some or all of the activities. Open to all — family and friends are invited. There is no cost, though donations are gratefully accepted. We look forward to seeing you!
