Contentment in Everyday Life

Mindfulness practice helps us to find contentment in simplicity and leads to appreciation of our lives. Therefore, difficult emotions and challenges in life can be met with gentleness, steadiness and humor. This five week class is designed to help establish simple mindfulness as a core practice for our busy lives.

This 5 week class starts Wednesday, January 18, from 7-9 pm, and continues on Wednesday evenings.  The class will consist of instruction on how to meditate, short talks, shamatha yoga, and small and large group discussions. Cost, $120, or whatever you can afford.

In order to make our programs accessible to everyone, we have a “pay what you  can afford” policy. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please decide what  works for you and offer whatever you can.

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “patron price” of $150. Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are  not able to pay the full price.  It also helps us to continue to bring out the full potential of this building.
