Featuring Linda Lane, Michelle Lane and Alyssum Pohl
Sept. 20 4:30-830 pm.
A mother and daughter-in-law team, joined by one of their students, bring us creative baskets made from a variety of materials including sea grass, iris leaves and the needles of endangered pines.
THE ARTISTS WILL BE HOLDING A WORKSHOP SOMETIME DURING THE RUN OF THE SHOW. More details to be announced.
VOLUNTEERS WELCOME!
Did you know that the Shambhala Center’s Mill & Max Art Gallery is entirely volunteer-run? We need volunteers to be gate-keepers during our open hours for our next exhibit, which runs Sept. 21 – Oct 20 on Saturdays & Sundays 12-3pm. No art knowledge required! Simply hang out and welcome visitors.
You can sign up for a short 3-hour shift (conveniently timed on Sat 12-3pm right after Café, and Sun 12-3pm!). It’s a great opportunity to practice meditation, read, relax, or even do your homework while simultaneously helping to uplift our community by promoting the arts and providing a contemplative space for our visitors to enjoy these works. We even have free snacks and WiFi!
To sign-up, or if you have questions, call or text our sangha member Karl Lindstrom at 859-494-5328.
