Being Zen: will help participants to unplug and feel supported in discovering a spacious and open way of being. Mindfulness practices will optimize study and learning habits, cultivate body awareness and self-regulation: the ability to shift from an anxious or numb state to a calm “presence”.
Understanding how our brain functions and how we connect our cognitive thinking to our body experiencing are components of the class. Utilizing art forms of writing, visual and movement arts, as well as sense perception exercises will allow for a dynamic experiential introduction to meditation. The intention of this class is to help participants integrate their insights and experiences into how they navigate their everyday lives.
Lynn Dragone and Sophie Deluca will be facilitating this class
