Acerca de los profesores:

Rick Meyers: My 25 year journey with Shambhala has been rich and very fulfilling. Over the years I have enjoyed community engagement in a variety of volunteer roles. For the past 15 years I have shared my experience of meditation, which in our tradition is the cornerstone of Shambhala and Buddhist studies. I have enriched my practice through a dathun (30 retiro de un día) and by leading several meditation groups over the years. In the past, my practice has wavered, but having committed to a daily practice, I have experienced the benefits of regular meditation in my daily life.

METROeli-Tashi Happy: Meditation Instructor and End-of-Life Coordinator for Seattle Shambhala Center. Meditating since 1997, starting in the Zen tradition, joining the Shambhala community in 2007. She’s taken Refuge Vows, Votos del bodhisattva, and is a Vajrayana student.
