The practice of shamatha-vipashyana is an ancient technique that helps us discover our innate stability, Klarheit, and strength of mind. Shamatha means calm abiding, and vipashyana points to the insight that arises from that calm mind. In this course we will build a strong foundation in the actual technique used for generations. Meditation allows us to develop a deeper relationship with ourselves, sense what is happening in our life, and learn to respond appropriately rather than feel propelled from one reaction to the next. Developing the ability to simply be present with ourselves is the start of a rich inner journey that affects our daily life and relationships. There are no guarantees of spiritual accomplishment, but all humans have the ability to start and deepen our capacity of being with what we feel and think. This course is a perfect place to start.
