Meditating With The Body – Four Foundations of Mindfulness

Saturday April 19:  1 – 5 pm
Sunday April 20:  10am – 1 pm

With gentle somatic practices of the whole body breathing, and the support of the midline, Lidija will prepare our body for the meditation practice of shamata/vipashyana.

Following the early Buddhist text of “Satipattana Sutta,” the discourse on the Foundations of Mindfulness, Lidija will introduce practitioners to effortless breathing through the whole Body (Kaya) with the posture of ease, allowing natural arising of the awareness of Feeling (Vedana), and mental formation (Chitta).

When our time and practice ripen, we will open the exploration of the fourth foundation, the mindfulness of Qualities (Dhamma).

The workshop is designed for beginners, as well as advanced (Mahamudra Shamatha) practitioners. All are welcome.
