You are invited to a joyous and fun-filled celebration of Children’s Day and the solstice as a way to connect with the cycles of the seasons and the importance of family and children. This is a family-friendly Shambhala Sunday Gathering hosted by the Touching the Earth Collective. Join us as we celebrate the darkest day in the Northern Hemisphere on December 22nd.

What do we have planned?

1. The Children’s Lhasang, very short and sweet!
2. The Look, See, and Say three-minute meditation – what  do we notice as we turn to the out of doors?
3. The Annual Group Calligraphy led by Barbara Bash. We say the words, and Barbara brings them to Life on the big white page…
4. You bring a riddle, a joke, a trick to perform, an instrument, a poem you have memorized, your genuine talents, maybe juggling? Wiggling your ears?
5. A scavenger hunt!

All the children of the world – the ones close, the ones far,

Tiny ones and kids who are teens,

They shower us with light and delight.

And thank goodness they are with us day and night! Ha Ha!!!
