Once again, we’re coming up on the winter solstice, a time that marks the shortest day and longest night of the year as well as the beginning of winter. The winter solstice is a “nidya” day, a time when we gather with friends and family to mark the changing seasons and celebrate our community and our connections with the natural world.
To recognize the Winter Solstice, we’re planning a social gathering on Saturday, December 21, from 3-6 PM.
Weather permitting, we’ll have an outdoor lhasang, then gather over appetizers and drinks for conversation and community.
Please bring an appetizer and/or beverage to share.
The gathering will be at Darice’s house:
4905 Canelo Ct SE
Rio Rancho, NM 87124
All welcome! RSVP if you plan to attend by emailing Eric or Darice.
