Shambhala Training Level III - Warrior in the World
with Betsy Pond
May 18 / 8:30 AM - May 19 / 5:30 PM
Prerequisite: Level II – Birth of the Warrior
In this program, the third in the sequence of Shambhala Training workshops, we build on the fearlessness we developed by examining our habitual tendencies in Level II. Willing to experience our life without relying on the cocoon, we begin to engage the world directly and extend the attitude of fearlessness to our activities.
Having learned not to turn away from fear, we can extend that practice into everyday life situations without the barrier of the cocoon. This takes daring. Through daring and gentleness, we open to a clear perception of the world and its feedback. In doing so, our fixation on our own point of view relaxes, and we learn that we can work with whatever situation arises. In Shambhala Training Level III: Warrior in the World, we will develop confidence in all aspects of our daily life.
Participants should be aware that they must attend all parts of the Level, i.e. the entire Level, in order to receive credit for completion of the Level, which is a prerequisite to attend the next Level.
Meals: Coffee will be available in the morning. Please bring at least .00-.00 cash for lunch each day. We will either all eat out together or have something simple catered, including a vegetarian option. Anyone with special dietary needs is invited to bring their lunch. The group is invited to go out to dinner Saturday night, but it is not required.
We would greatly appreciate your registering online before the class, so that we can anticipate class size for food and material preparation.
