All Day Meditation Retreat (Orange County)

For new and experienced practitioners alike, this all-day community meditation retreat is a rare opportunity to take a real break from our usual routines, to truly relax with ourselves and refresh our sense of wellbeing, goodness and sanity.


In the morning session, Shastri Moore will introduce a short White Tara compassion practice. It is said that this could be helpful for “anyone who needs to be soothed.”


There will be group meditation instruction given at the very beginning of the day and private meetings are available upon request with a well-qualified meditation instructor throughout the day.  Silence (functional talking when necessary) will be observed most the day..

The schedule is as follows (with slight changes possible):


8:30AM           Check-in and coffee/tea
9:00    Welcome, introduction, orientation, group instruction
9:30    Sitting and walking meditation practice
12:00  Lunch  (There is room in our refrigerator if you would like to bring your own food.)


12:30PM         Silent break/rest period
1:00                 Contemplative Exercise
1:30                 Sitting and walking meditation practice


3:00                 Tea & Discussion
4:00                 Sitting and walking meditation
4:30                 Closing
