SLOW DEEP STOP / Handwriting as a Practice: A contemplative arts workshop

with David Schneider
March 9 / 2:00 PM - March 9 / 5:00 PM

For this afternoon, we will practice the ancient art of writing by hand. The session will consist of some sitting meditation, writing exercises, reading/sharing (purely on a volunteer basis) and group discussion.

If you have a notebook, special paper you enjoy using, favorite pens or pencils, please bring them. For those who bring nothing but their open mind, there will be paper and some basic writing materials available.

The idea is that in working together, by hand, we can reach levels of meaning usually hidden to ourselves and others.
