Who Am I? (Basic Goodness I)

This course asks the question, "Who am I?" and explores the sense of self. It includes teachings on basic goodness, selflessness, the arising of ego and cocoon, buddha-nature, and the confidence of warriorship. We practice contemplative investigations of the self, based on the foundations of mindfulness. This program includes the transmission of Shambhala Meditation.

Location: This program will take place at the location of the Gainesville Shambhala Meditation Group: 1899 NE 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609. Breakfast and lunch are provided on Saturday and Sunday. Usually we go out to a nearby restaurant as a group on Saturday evening (additional details will be provided on your welcome email which is sent a few days before the start of the event).
Accommodations: If you are coming from out-of-town, we will do our best to house you with sangha members. We also have limiited accommodations at the center for a nominal fee. Please indicate your needs on your registration form at least two weeks in advance.
