with Richard John
October 5 / 9:00 AM - October 5 / 6:00 PM
The Ashe Mahamudra connects the traditional "Looking" and"Pointing Out" practice instructions of Mahamudra with the Shambhala wisdom of Ashe and the path of the Four Dignities. This liturgy, written by Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche, aligns the dignities with the famous four recognitions taught by the Ninth Karmapa: Mind is appearance, appearance is emptiness, emptiness is luminosity and luminosity is spontaneous presence.
