Das Bodhisattva – Gelübde

Das Wochenendprogramm ist dem Bodhisattvagelübde gewidmet. Es ist Teil des Sommer-City-Retreats, kann aber auch als einzelne Veranstaltung besucht werden.

Am letzten Nachmittag legt man das Bodhisattva-Gelübde ab. Kanditaten, die das machen möchten, müssen Zuflucht in die Drei Juwelen genommen haben und brauchen eine Empfehlung eines Meditationsunterweisers. Ein zentraler Teil der Zeremonie ist es, ein Geschenk zu geben.

Unsere Lehrer*in:

David Schneider devenu 1951 Né au Kentucky, 1971 il a commencé sous la direction de Sazaki-roshi, Shunryu Suzuki-roshi und später Richard Baker-roshi Zen zu studieren. 1985 il est devenu un élève de Trungpa Rinpoché, später Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. Depuis 1996 il est professeur principal à Shambhala. David est calligraphe et a exposé lors d'expositions d'art internationales. Il est l'auteur de plusieurs livres, u.a.. « Rue-Zen » et « Bondé de beauté ». Il est père de deux enfants et vit à Cologne.

Regula Stöckli begann in den frühen Achtzigerjahren den Buddhismus zu studieren und zu praktizieren und ist u.a. Schülerin von Trungpa Rinpoche und Sakyong Mipham. Seit vielen Jahren leitet sie Meditationsseminare. Sie ist pensionierte Sozialarbeiterin und lebt mit ihrem Mann in Bern.

The Bodhisattva vow

The weekend program is dedicated to the Bodhisattva vow. It is part of the Summer City Retreat, but can also be attended as an individual event.

The Bodhisattva vow is taken on the last afternoon. Candidates who wish to do this must have taken refuge in the Three Jewels and need a recommendation from a meditation teacher. A central part of the ceremony is to give a gift.

Teacherinformation:

David Schneider was born in 1951 Kentucky, dans 1971 he began to study Zen under the guidance of Sazaki-roshi, Shunryu Suzuki-roshi and later Richard Baker-roshi. Dans 1985 he became a student of Trungpa Rinpoche, later Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche. He has been a senior teacher at Shambhala since 1996. David is a calligrapher and has exhibited at international art exhibitions. He is the author of several books, y compris « Street Zen » et « Bondé de beauté ». He is the father of two children and lives in Cologne.

Regula Stöckli began practicing and studying Buddhism in the early 1980s. She is student from Trungpa Rinpoche and Sakyong Mipham has been leading meditationcourses for many years. She is a retired social worker and lives with her husband in Bern.
