Awareness Through Movement

In this class we’ll use gentle, mindful movements to lead us back to our vibrant, potent and creative selves. By sensing the body and its movements we can discover wisdom and awaken the patterns from which we evolved to create the upright human posture.

Connecting with the potential energy of the season, this practice reminds us of our own potential that quietly observes from beneath the surface, waiting for an opportunity to emerge and blossom under the right conditions.

No previous experience is necessary. The movements can be adapted for both sitting and lying down. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat for floor exercises.

Our teacher, Thais Bicalho Silva is a Physical Therapist and Feldenkrais Instructor.
