Weekend One is the first of three training sessions for those interested in sharing the practice of meditation with others. These programs are designed to cultivate the understanding and skills to assist others along their meditation path. This series can be taken as continuing education for already authorized Meditation Instructors, and can serve as initial training for people who are practicing meditation and are interested in developing as Meditation Instructors.

Dal Asraël is een beoefenaar van meditatie geweest, Boeddhisme, en de Shambhala-leringen voorgoed voorbij 45 jaren. She became a student of Chögyam Trungpa, Rinpoche in 1973 En, na zijn dood, continued to study with other teachers of Tibetan Buddhism. She also trained with the Zen teacher Charlotte Joko Beck during the last twelve years of her life.
Dale geeft dharmaprogramma's en leidt internationaal meditatieretraites, and served as an Acharya (senior leraar) for twenty years. She is an authorized teacher of traditional Daoist qigong in the Xiantianwujimen lineage of Eva Wong.
Dale is hoogleraar aan de Naropa Universiteit, waar ze de Naropa University Mindfulness Instructor Training heeft opgericht en de hoofddocent is, dat zojuist zijn twintigste jaarlijkse cyclus van trainingsprogramma's heeft afgerond.

Gaylon Ferguson, Ph.D., heeft sindsdien groepsmeditatieretraites geleid 1976. Hij gaf les aan Stanford, de Universiteit van Washington, en Naropa Universiteit, waar hij vijftien jaar lang kernlid van de faculteit was. De auteur van twee boeken, Natuurlijke waakzaamheid (over de vier fundamenten van mindfulness) EnNatuurlijke moed (over angst en onbevreesdheid als pad naar het manifesteren van moed), zijn artikelen zijn verschenen in Lion’s Roar, Driewieler, en het tijdschrift Buddhadharma. Hij droeg het voorwoord bij aan de baanbrekende bundelZwart en boeddhistisch: Wat het boeddhisme ons kan leren over ras, Weerstand, Transformatie en vrijheid (Shambhala, 2020).
