Tevredenheid in het dagelijks leven (Persoonlijk)

Tevredenheid kan moeilijk te vinden zijn. Much of the time we search for contentment in things, achievements or relationships. Met meditatie en contemplatieoefeningen, we kunnen ontspannen met onszelf zoals we zijn en eenvoudige menselijke ervaringen waarderen. Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.

This five-week course is open to all. No previous experience with meditation is required. Tevredenheid in het dagelijks leven is the second course offered in the Everyday Life series of courses and is open to everyone, including those who have completed Meditatie in het dagelijks leven.

The purpose of Tevredenheid in het dagelijks leven is to introduce an experience and understanding of contentment as the foundation for both the spiritual path and a sane life. We want to connect with our everyday life, circumstances, en emoties.

Many of us relate to our minds with a sense of aggression, lack of respect, and self-criticism. We ignore our fundamental sanity and wakefulness. Such aggression and lack of friendliness to ourselves often transfers over to our meditation seat.

De Everyday Life courses encourage participants to gently rest in basic goodness. The primary method to experience gentleness is meditation.

Please note that there is no class on Monday, Kunnen 27, as there will be a public talk by Ringu Tulku Rinpoche on that date.
