Durante este mini-retiro, estudaremos e contemplaremos o Sutra do Buda sobre O Selo do Dharma e As Três Portas para a Libertação. The Seals are Vazio, Signlessness e Aimlessness. De acordo com o Buda, essas três portas são passagens que levam à libertação do sofrimento. The purpose of this mini-retreat is to encourage practitioners to recognize and embody their own freedom and powerand bring the Buddha’s teaching into their daily life.

This Mini-Retreat Offers:

  • An opportunity to study a Buddhist Sutra in community
  • An opportunity to deepen your understanding of the Buddha’s teachings
  • Instructions on practical applications of Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism
  • Teachings on Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche’s advice on postmeditation practice

Alley Smith is an ordained Shambhala Buddhist Minister of Religion (Upadhyaya) Capelão da Brown University em Providence, Ilha de Rodes, EUA. She is currently in-residence at Providence Zen Center and holds precepts in Korean Zen. Alley is a US military war veteran who specializes in spiritual care, assuntos mortuários, and teaching Buddhism. She has been a student of Shambhala and Zen since 1999. capelã[email protected]

Meli-Tashi feliz is the End-of-Life Coordinator for Seattle Shambhala Center, a death doula, and somatic educator. Her Buddhist path began in 1997 in the Zen tradition, and in 2007 she found the Shambhala teachings. She’s taken Refuge and Bodhisattva Vows, and is a vajrayana student. She helps foster ‘community death careeducation and connections.
