This is the third course in the five-part series, Encontrar la libertad, Explorando la profundidad de las enseñanzas Hinayana del Buda.. The Four Noble Truths is used as the overall organizing principle for the series and is threaded through each session. Each of the five courses will be taught by a local Seattle Shambhala teacher (there are no pre-recorded sessions). Curso 3 is open to all with no prerequisites.

Curso 3: La segunda noble verdad: El origen del sufrimiento, Parte 2 – La rueda de la vida, Karma, y las Doce Nidanas

The foundational teachings of the Buddha indicate that the anxiety, miedo, depresión, and other forms of suffering we experience in our lives can end if we recognize, profunda y profundamente, como ha surgido ese sufrimiento. Esto requiere valentía suave y contemplación profunda., and means we must be willing to go beyond any previous simplified ideas about how and why our anxiety, fears and suffering have arisen.

Curso 3 will be taught by Bob Salskov and will meet five Wednesday evenings from 6:30 – 8:30 pm on Zoom starting April 17, 2023.

Bob Salskov (Director) has been a student of the Shambhala Buddhism for forty-eight years, including eight years as personal attendant to Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. He has been a teacher in the Shambhala School of Buddhist Studies and Shambhala Training.
