About the Shambhala Day

Shambhala Day marks the beginning of the new lunar year where we come together to celebrate the precious opportunity we have in our lives, practicar juntos, and to express appreciation for our path and our community.

The other events leading into Shambhala Day are our End of Year Rituals January 31st – February 8th and Neutral Day on Friday, February 9th. These are important practices to help usher in the New Year by clearing obstacles, making offerings, and inviting the wakeful qualities of our minds and the world to be present.

En la astrología tibetana, el Año del Dragón está asociado con cualidades de sabiduría, confianza, inteligencia y honestidad. En los años del Dragón, podemos ver ideas revolucionarias, Pero estos años también pueden ser conocidos por la confiabilidad y la falta de arrogancia.. El elemento Madera en el próximo año del Dragón de Madera hace que este año sea menos feroz y dominante que otras épocas de dragones., brindándonos un año con potencial para trabajar bien con otros y poder hacer concesiones cuando sea necesario.
