5-week Book Study «How We Live is How We Die» by Pema Chodron

This 5-week series will focus on the most recent book by acclaimed author Pema Chödrön: How We LIve is How We Die.

The book provides practical methods for transforming life’s most challenging emotions about change and uncertainty, into a path of awakening and love, and living life fullly and compassionately in the shadow of death and change.

The series will focus on the audiences needs and interests at this time of their lives and will include meditation instruction and practices, presentations and discussions.

Pema Chödrön is an American Buddhist nun, and is the beloved resident teacher of Gampo Abbey Monastery in Cape Breton. She is the author of over twenty books, including bestseller Cuando las cosas se desmoronan. 

The series is open to all. It is offered free of charge.

We ask that you REGISTER IN ADVANCE by contacting Theresa at [email protected] o llamar 902 857-9523.  A minimum enrollment is required to offer the series. Please Register even if you cannot attend every session.

The series will take place at St. Centro Shambhala de Margarets Bay 13495 Peggy’s Cove Road, Tantallón superior. We encourage you to attend in person. However if you need,there will be a Zoom link provided to you. Please indicate when you register if you need the Zoom link.

No book purchase is required. However if you wish you may order from amazon.ca or check out Chapters and other local bookstores. Most carry Pema Chödrön books.
