The film “Crazy Wisdom: The Life and Times of Chögyam Trungpa” explores the life and teachings of Chögyam Trungpa . Chögyam Trungpa was a Tibetan Buddhist meditation master and holder of both the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages of Tibetan Buddhism.
Parinirvana of Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche
Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was a meditation master and the founder of Shambhala. He died in 1987. The day of a high lama’s death is called a Parinirvana. We will celebrate Trungpa Rinpoche’s Parinirvana with a potluck Sadhana of Mahamudra feast practice.
