You have a warrior’s heart that can face life’s challenges with gentleness, confidence, and humor. Please join us for this introduction to the Shambhala teachings to begin to discover and express these qualities in your daily life.

When we open up to our full experience we start to recognize our habitual patterns and also begin to discover fearlessness. We can actually free ourselves from the patterns that constrain the brilliant, compassionate, mindful warrior within.
Open to all, this is part of a series of three weekend trainings designed as continuing education for already authorized Meditation Instructors, as well as meditation practitioners who are interested in developing as Meditation Instructors.
Weekend 2 of a 3 weekend series is open to both current Meditation Instructors, and those exploring this path. It's a time to refresh past training, or learn what is involved in becoming an MI. Participate online, or join our local group at the center.

This introductory program includes meditation instruction, talks, periods of meditation practice, and discussion. Everyone welcome.
In this program, limited to Shambhala Training Level III graduates, we learn to allow our hearts to open so that we can communicate fully with the world.
This three-day retreat, hosted by the Victoria Shambhala Centre, is open to all new and senior practitioners who wish to establish or deepen their meditation practice.

Meditation practice allows us to notice how we sometimes create a cocoon of habits to hide from or ignore our fears. Through meditation, we can begin to make friends with those fears and habits and cut through their ability to control us.
