Sunday Community Meditation Practice
Join us at the Shambhala Centre for the power of group meditation practice on Sunday mornings. The practice of mindfulness-awareness meditation is offered, with initial instruction available on request.
Please check the Monthly Calendar for specific details as some Sundays vary in their presentations.
Here is the typical schedule (come and go as you like):
At 9:30 am we begin with Morning Chants (provided) followed by periods of traditional sitting meditation alternated with walking meditation.
At 10:15 am, a “Dharma Reading” is offered, and includes group discussion.
At 11:00 am we continue with periods of sitting meditation alternated with walking meditation.
At 12:00 noon we conclude with Dedications of Merit
Come and go as you like.

Alert: Masks are not required but are welcomed. Please do not wear scented personal care products to the Centre. There is a medical service dog working in the community. Please ignore 100% the service dog for the safety and independence of the owner.
