Join us for a very special celebration of the Parinirvana (death of an enlightened being) of the Vidhaydhara Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. It is particularly significant for our sangha because it is the 50th anniversary of his visit to Austin in 1974.

 

We gather to remember and introduce new students to his instructions for living in today’s world with dignity, confidence and fearlessness. The celebration will include the Sadhana of Mahamudra practice, excerpts from his remarkable life, and stories of the inception of the Austin sangha’s supplication for connection and identification with him. 

Beverages and snacks will be offered.
