Please join us in celebrating the spring (vernal) equinox on Wednesday, March 20^th at 4:30 pm.  The equinox marks the beginning of spring, the moment when the sun sits directly over the Earth’s equator, and day and night are roughly the same length.

We will gather at Christine and Gregory’s gate and stroll down to the centre of the field.  Bring a chair along if it’s easy to do, and if you wish, any beverage/snack.  After the lhasang we invite you to sit around the fire for a time for story telling, conversation and the richness of the unfolding of spring.

The Shambhala Touching the Earth Collective initiated this lhasang on the equinox with the idea of creating a continuous lhasang that circles the earth as Shambhala groups around the world perform the smoke offering from 4:30 to 6:00 their local time.
