COVID-19 Policies for In-Person Gatherings
You are warmly invited to join a participant-led study group focused on Lojong, the ancient Tibetan guide for developing compassion and relieving the sufferings of ego. We meet every Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom to explore a different slogan. We use Pema Chodron’s Start Where You Are and Norman Fischer’s Training in Compassion as study texts.
Slogans and Companion Readings
Please click here for the full list of 59 Lojong Slogans matched with the companion chapters in each study text.
This week, we will be working with Slogan #45: “Take on the three principal causes.“
► Join us in person at Cedarcroft Center, located at 6112 York Road, a block and a half north of Northern Parkway. Please enter using the single door on the side of the building, then take the stairs to the second floor. Parking is available on-site in the lot shared with The Church of the Nativity and Holy Comforter. We regret that this space is *not* wheelchair-accessible, as there is no elevator in the building.
► Join us online by clicking on this ZOOM LINK at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening
