Free Introductory Talk on Meditation for Everyday Life

Explore this recorded Shambhala Online course at your own pace.

Join us for free talks on meditation and its benefits, in a warm, supportive environment. This series is conceived as an introductory series, continuing similar work in past years, and will also provide teacher training opportunities to especially existing members of the Shambhala Center.

On Wednesday, April 3, at 7:00 PM, we will listen to an exploratory talk by sangha member Bruce Gaber. (This talk will be online, on Zoom.)

Bruce Gaber has been engaged with the Shambhala Community for many years and currently serves on the practice & education committee for the community. He is a skilled craftsman in metal and other media, as well as an artist and creator. His latest passion is 3D printing of beautiful and useful objects.

This is part of a series of talks that usually occur on the first Wednesday of each month. (In May, the talk will be in person at the Seekers Church in Takoma, DC.)

First Wednesday of the month, 7:00 – 8:00 PM (except in May), live on Zoom, with some exceptions. No charge – Donations to the DC Shambhala Center help us sustain our activities and are deeply appreciated.
