Free Introductory Talk on Meditation for Everyday Life – plus In-Person Sitting

Explore this recorded Shambhala Online course at your own pace.

Join us IN PERSON on Saturday morning, May 4, at 9:00 AM! This is part of a series of talks that usually occur on the first Wednesday of each month, but for May, we would like to invite people to join us for sitting.

On Saturday, May 4, at 9:00 AM, we will gather in person at Seeker’s Church for a morning of meditation, kicked off by a talk by community member Eric Haag.

Eric Haag is an evolutionary biologist and long-time meditator. He first encountered the Shambhala dharma in the late 90s, and was fortunate to study core Mahayana Buddhist teachings with the late Robin Kornman in Milwaukee. Since moving to the DC area in 2002, he has been involved in the DC Shambhala Center as a practitioner and through service on its executive council and organization of children’s programming.

May only – IN PERSON – Saturday morning, May 4, at 9:00 AM! . No charge – Donations to the DC Shambhala Center help us sustain our activities and are deeply appreciated.
