Level 1 Shambhala Retreat Weekend: The Art of Being Human
with Veit Weber
March 27 / 7:00 PM - March 29 / 1:00 PM
Through the practice of meditation, we glimpse unconditional goodness as the ground of our existence. Opening to ourselves with gentleness and appreciation, we begin to see our potential as genuine and compassionate human beings.
This weekend introduces participants to the practice of sitting meditation and to the basic principles of the Shambhala path of warriorship. There is a fundamental, good energy present in all of our experience, and this basic goodness, innate to the way things are, is our own inborn, unconditional nature as well.
The program includes meditation instruction, talks by the Director, group discussions, guided contemplative practice, and individual meetings with experienced instructors.
The program fee is . It's 2-for-1 on the fee if you bring a friend. Finances should not be an obstacle and we have a generosity policy, which allows you to pay what you can, for who find the program fee beyond their current capacity. The patron price of 0 allows those who have the means to help others attend at a lower price.
Open to everyone.
