Enjoy the energy and support of practicing meditation with others in our half-day meditation retreat! The morning will include meditation instruction, sitting and walking meditation, discussion, and the opportunity to meet with a Meditation Instructor.

This offering is a time for the community to come together and deepen their practice, with an extended session of sitting and walking meditation. Join us for opening chants followed by periods of sitting and walking meditation until noon.
Join in each month on the first Sunday as we come together for morning meditation practice and dharma study at the Pioneer Valley Shambhala Center.
All are welcome! Meditation instruction will be provided for those new to meditation practice.

Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche was a meditation master and the founder of Shambhala. He died in 1987. The day of a high lama’s death is called a Parinirvana. We will celebrate Trungpa Rinpoche’s Parinirvana with a potluck Sadhana of Mahamudra feast practice.
